What To Expect When We’re Working Together

My counseling style is trauma-informed, individualized, and paced to ensure comfort and readiness for each client. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals overcome the distress of their past and ease their anxieties about the future. I believe our childhood experiences play a significant role in shaping who we are, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their past and process their trauma. With unconditional positive regard, I gently reframe perspectives shaped by past experiences, fostering healing and growth. Because of this, my therapeutic approach is particularly well-suited for those seeking support for:

  • ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence
  • Trauma
  • OCD
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • LGBTQIA+ Concerns
  • Substance Misuse

My treatment approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I primarily use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma reprocessing, complemented by psychodynamic therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques. By personalizing the therapeutic process, we will engage in meaningful work that fosters self-discovery and cultivate greater self-compassion.
